Tomorrow, November 2nd, is Parker's first birthday. What a year. A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone for their help and support this year. Really, we couldn't have done it without you. From those who came and stayed with us while Parker was in the hospital, to those who sent constant well wishes, to those who took our other kids at a moment's notice and without hesitation. A thank you also to the new people in our lives: the doctors, the home care nurses, the therapists, and the new "trach" friends who feel like old friends. A year ago we didn't know you but now we can't imagine life without you.

Wow Suzanne! What a year for all of you. He is a beautiful boy. I am so glad to have been able to share in this past year with you if only through prayers, emails and photos. The power of love is truly amazing. Keep the pictures coming. We miss you. Beth, Ryan and girls.

Hola, primero que todo es hermoso ver un acontecimiento tan importante y recorrer la maravillosa vida de Parker, que ha dado una lucha para salir adelante y vivir una vida completamente bella. Se que ha pasado algun tiempo para Desearle Feliz Cumpleaños, pero solo hace 1 hora conoci su blog. Los felicito por ser la familia que son, un abrazo a la distancia (desde Chile) De parte de una Madre que tiene a una bebita en condiciones parecidas a las suyas y que dia a dia lucha por ver feliz a Constanza.
